Its representation in a butterfly shape, with the generations not on top of each other but side by side, allows you to better read the family chart including the last generation.
The couple is in the center of the family chart and their ancestors are on either side.
The children are placed below the couple, with the lines of the cells less visible to avoid drawing attention to this part if you have no children or do not fill the maximum number of 6 children.
Its large cells have enough lines to record the last name, first name, occupation, date and place of birth, date and place of union and date and place of death for each ancestor. The cells of the first and last generations have one line less.
